Welcome to Gorsey Bank
Gorsey Bank has a reputation for excellence sustained by the belief that every child has an entitlement to the best education we can provide.
Gorsey Bank Primary School is a two form entry school situated just outside Wilmslow town centre, near Lindow Common and Lindow Moss where 'Lindow Man' was found. The school serves a mainly professional catchment area where the expectations of parents are extremely high. Over 400 pupils are organised into fourteen classes. Learning is central to our work and we strive to ensure a cross-curricular approach to curricular management with a strong emphasis on first hand experience. Our Vision & ValuesGorsey Bank aspires to be an outstanding school, which promises a safe, secure and inspirational learning environment where every child can succeed. We are a community in which children, staff, parents and governors value others, develop good relationships and are committed to lifelong learning.
Our new mobiles
We are delighted that the mobiles are in place from the beginning of term. Cheshire County Council, their contractors, school governors and the school management team are to be thanked for the speed and efficiency with which the project was completed. The mobiles are brand new units, are fully equipped and are enhanced by the playground area in front of them. The classes are well settled in already and we are very satisfied with the standard of provision.
