Welcome to Gorsey Bank

All 72 members of staff in our school would like to thank all parents for being so understanding and supportive during the school's recent troubles. Apart from the two days when Cheshire County Council closed the school, as a Health and Safety precaution, we are staying open and providing education.

Our pupils are being outstanding in the way that they are contributing to the solutions that we are using -so thank you to all pupils. We are seeing lots of goodwill and consideration for others, both very important life skills.

The school is now working with Cheshire County Council and in September all children will be back in classrooms with their new teachers. Our normal timetable and programme of events will be resumed.

Gorsey Bank has a reputation for excellence sustained by the belief that every child has an entitlement to the best education we can provide.

Gorsey Bank Primary School is a two form entry school situated just outside Wilmslow town centre, near Lindow Common and Lindow Moss where 'Lindow Man' was found. The school serves a mainly professional catchment area where the expectations of parents are extremely high. Over 400 pupils are organised into fourteen classes. Learning is central to our work and we strive to ensure a cross-curricular approach to curricular management with a strong emphasis on first hand experience.

Our Vision & Values
Gorsey Bank aspires to be an outstanding school, which promises a safe, secure and inspirational learning environment where every child can succeed.
We are a community in which children, staff, parents and governors value others, develop good relationships and are committed to lifelong learning.
